You don’t have to be mad to work here…

Sunday 9th June

We’d like to take a moment to talk about mental health issues within the hospitality industry.
This is a rising issue, especially in recent years and you’ll be hard to pressed to find a member of the industry who hasn’t been affected, either directly or indirectly. This is a very serious issue that has been directly linked with suicide rates amongst young people all over the country. This is an issue that is very close to our hearts, so we’re putting on an evening of live music to raise awareness, funding and support for the charity Health in hospitality.

On Sunday June 9th, from 4-11pm, we’ll be having a casual day of live music from a number of voluntary bands and artists who share our passion for raising awareness on an issue that is downplayed as “part of the job” and comes to be expected by a lot of employees!

We’ll be holding a raffle with prizes generously donated from a huge number of businesses all over Glasgow including Tiki bar, 6 degrees north, Finsbay and Hillhead Bookclub, to name just a few. As well as many custom items handmade by those in support of the cause!

We would encourage a donation of £3 (more or less if you like!) upon entry, with 100% of all money raised going directly to the charity.

Let’s support each other. ❤
